The Weinold’s were not looking for a new home. In fact, a major remodel project of their Rancho Bernardo home was scheduled to start the following Monday. “We realized we were putting a Band-Aid on our current situation,” said John Weinold. “Lot 16 checked off all but one item from our to-do list for the existing home.” Yet they were hesitant.
